I am a philosopher of science and biology. My research focuses on modelling and scientific explanation in the life sciences. I'm also interested in the connections between evolutionary theory, social behavior and morality.
I hold a PhD (philosophy) and an MA (biology) from Harvard (2010). I spent four years as a Polonsky Postdoctoral Fellow at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem before joining, in 2014, the philosophy department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where I have been associate professor since 2018..
